A picture is worth a thousand words—or more PASS THIS ON TO ALL AMERICANS

I had heard about this but a picture is definitely worth 1000 words! God save us!!!
Senator Barack Obama, Governor Bill Richardson, Senator Hillary Clinton and Ruth Harkin stand during the national anthem.
Barack Hussein Obama’s photo (that’s his real name)……the article said he REFUSED TO NOT ONLY PUT HIS HAND ON HIS HEART DURING THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE, BUT REFUSED TO SAY THE PLEDGE…..how in the hell can a man like this expect to be our next Commander-in-Chief????
To my knowlege there was no article about this only a picture however, the pictue still shows that he decided not to put is hand over his heart duing the playing of the National Anthem.
Pledge of Allegiance and national anthem
The Pledge of Allegiance should be rendered by standing at attention, facing the flag, and saluting. When the national anthem is played or sung, citizens should stand at attention and salute at the first note and hold the salute through the last note. The salute is directed to the flag, if displayed, otherwise to the music.

National anthem
(a) Designation.— The composition consisting of the words and music known as the Star-Spangled Banner is the national anthem.
(b) Conduct During Playing.— During a rendition of the national anthem—
(1) when the flag is displayed—
(A) all present except those in uniform should stand at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart;
(B) men not in uniform should remove their headdress with their right hand and hold the headdress at the left shoulder, the hand being over the heart; and
(C) individuals in uniform should give the military salute at the first note of the anthem and maintain that position until the last note; and
(2) when the flag is not displayed, all present should face toward the music and act in the same manner they would if the flag were displayed.
I wonder, was there a flag flying and that is where they are looking?

This is the link to the original picture in Time which says it was during the National Anthem, which by the way I was taught to place my hand over my heart during the National Anthem as you can see even the others on that stage knew what to do apparently he did not or didn’t care to either way it is still wrong and he still does not deserve to run this country and you may call me what ever you wish it will still not make what he didn’t do right….

I sorry Junior had to take his father name since he was only born in Honolulu, Hawaii to Barack Obama, Sr. (born in Nyanza Province, Kenya) and Ann Dunham (born in Wichita, Kansas). I sorry his parents attended the University of Hawaii, where his father was enrolled as a foreign student. Sorry his father went to Harvard University to pursue Ph.D. studies, then returned to Kenya, where he died in an auto accident Sorry he said he grew up as American middle class family. mind.”[20]
Sorry this man of color went to school and studied at Occidental College for two years, then transferred to Columbia University, where he majored in political science with a specialization in international relations. Sorry he received his B.A. degree in 1983, then worked for one year at Business International Corporation before moving to Chicago to take a job as a community organizer. Sorry he entered Harvard Law School in 1988. Must have hurt in 1990, The New York Times reported his election as the Harvard Law Review’s “first black president in its 104-year history.” Sorry he completed his J.D. degree magna cum laude in 1991. Glad he was a lecturer of constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School from 1993 until his election to the U.S. Senate in 2004.
I could care less what color that man is or what his education was all I care about is that he did not care enough about our country to salute the flag and say the pledge, with all that education I would have thought he was smarter than that… If you do not have enough respect for the country you say you want to lead to at least salute our flag, you do not deserve to lead it…
It’s obvious that you don’t like Obama… and it’s obvious that you’re not too bright, since you’ve posted something that is NOT CORRECT… so let me clue you in.
In that photo – the national anthem was being played – NOT the pledge. There is a HUGE difference – specifically, one does not place their hand on their heart during the national anthem. Because you’ve posted something that is not factually correct – and because you’ve jumped into the fire – going on and on about how Obama isn’t patriotic, how he is a bad American, etc… you’ve lowered yourself past the level of the most disgusting republican.
I was always taught this because my dad spent 24 years in the military:

I find it very difficult and almost hypocrital for anyone to aspire to the highest office in our nation and yet either not be aware of proper etiquette or purposely dismiss it. In either case, I would really be interested how Obama spins this or explains his ignorance.
Are we to assume you were there? If not maybe you could tell us how you divined that response

Keith, he isn’t he is going to send his supporters to blogs like this one to try and shut us up, as you see it isn’t working
Keith thanks for the instructions some people need them my Dad was Army what was yours??
It’s a shame. But it wouldn’t have mattered anyway. This country will never elect a n*gger president. Or a woman president for that matter. They are wasting their time.
I DON’T BELEIVE ONE OUNCE OF THIS PROPAGANDA.
WHERE AND WHEN DID THIS SUPPOSEDLY TAKE PLACE
ok I too was in Vietnam, in the 1st Cav and saw alot of action; I thought I was fighting for my country; the flag and pledge is not a big priorty to me. I guess I am not a good American?
Shazam ask Time magizine they are the ones who took the picture, Bruce and Richard might I ask what does matter?
Before you criticize an individualbe sure you have your facts correct.
