3. Okay, here goes, for the ones that haven’t read my story. The woman, Ms. Jo Dell Pickens, in an article in The State newspaper, dated 27 June 2007, three weeks before yours truly was arrested and jailed, quoted and I quote “I have 22 illegal aliens working for me” unquote. Those are her words, recorded in a public forum. Also said woman, on the day of my protest, before the cops got there, pulled up right in front of me in a very expensive Mercedes SUV, got out and started talking to her international roofers (words out of the mouth of the homeowner). PS— I am still 2 months behind on the payments of my family vehicle, which if you are wondering is a 2002 Oldsmobile Silhouette van. Is there any other questions that I can help with? 4. I have one other comment to this person commenting that the homeowner and builder had checked their green cards and verified that they were legal workers. You pay for the lie detector test and I will take it. If that homeowner told you that, then he is an outright liar. Let him take the same test with me and the results will be made public. 5. I have one last and final comment on marty54′s message. The 2 pictures in his column, one says that it is the homeowners roof? Wrong, that is an outright lie. How do I know? The picture he gives you, of the homeowner’s roof, it is not copper but another type of metal called painted aluminum. New copper shines for months, and if you do not believe me, then check my pictures of the copper roof on that house. Does it not shine? And the picture that marty54 shows, saying it is the homeowner’s house, does it shine like the ones in my pictures do? 7. I have one last thing, because I am getting ready for bed and will resume in the morning. The picture of marty54′s homeowner’s roof, the metal is painted aluminum and not copper. The color of the painted aluminum on the homeowner’s roof that mart54 submits is call medium bronze. So if all of you reading this have checked my protest pictures of the homeowners roof, tell me does the color in any way resemble the color of the homeowner’s roof in marty54′s picture? Look closely. 8. I never doubted you Terry, I doubt this person simply because they waited until you had national attention and now want to start something. In case this person does not know most of those documents can and have been faked before, I would suspect these new documents are just that new ones to be used to say they were legal all along. 9. I would ask that my readers go over and check out Marty’s blog, not just the article she mentions but the second one as well… Why you ask? Because this blog was set up for the specific purpose of trying to make Terry into a liar, if you go past the first article you will find that is the first and only article on that blog, interesting I would say. it is my contention that this person never believed this story would get as far as it did, much less go national and business must be hurting, excuse me while I go get my hanky. Now the only question is, did they set this blog up because they thought they could discredit Terry so they might not look so bad after his interview or were they just waiting for the ink to dry. 11. I had the pleasure of passing along Terry’s run in with the law to CNN Lou Dobb’s along with other national media. If I was the homeowner and contractor of the illegal aliens I would read, Federal Immigration and Nationality Act Section 8 USC 1324(a)(1)(A)(iv)(b)(iii). I would be checking with an attorney to find out what is the crime for hiring illegal aliens. I will be sending this to the Department of Homeland Security, ICE to be exact. They just might be getting a visit form them and then they can as themselves, how cheap it was to “hire international roofers.” With President Bush and secretary of the Department of Homeland Security saying they are going to crackdown on employers of illegal aliens this just might be a good case for national attention on the issue. 12. Nice idea, TopAsst — but ICE doesn’t care! They honestly have ZERO interest in deporting or prosecuting anyone for breaking these laws. From Bush on down, no one has any desire to punish the illegals or anyone who hires them. Here in NC we have a law that provides for a $10,000 fine for each illegal employed by any company. I live in NC and our politicians are not very aggressive on illegal immigration. Hey Terry, Good to hear many others respond to your plight and are actually pissed off at the situiation with our illegals like so many others.Your issue is very important and hope you cause a rallying point for so many Americans to show what is happening to us all. Let them know how mad we are about illegal immigration being passed that will allow radical Islamic terrorists to become citizens. Read the recent Washington Times article by Sara A. 26. Carol, This is Terry, when he said that the Hispanics were illegal he was either fibbing or didn’t know the true story. Those Hispanics on the job were employed by a lady that admitted in a newspaper that she employed 22 illegal aliens. Check the archives in the State newspaper (Columbia, SC) for June 27 2007. Look for an article by reporter Dawn Hinshaw about that lady, Jo Dell Pickens. See what she says. And I am not a racist. It sickens me to even try to defend myself against that charge. My wife is Filipina and I love the Filipino people. There isn’t a racist bone in my body. My argument is against illegal competition in the workplace and there are thousands of Americans in my same position. I have friends in the construction industry that haven’t been able to find work for months.All of us are being pushed out of business because of greedy contractors and subcontractors that are willfully breaking our laws so they can put more money in their own pockets. At the expense of American workers. The facts are, there were illegals on that job because their employer admitted to it. And the homeowner admitted to me and an employee that international roofers installed the shingles on his roof. Nothing was said about green cards or anything else. And the facts are that both the homeowner and Ms. Pickens broke our laws, numerous of them, and I protested and got jailed for my efforts. 29. Ms Pickens pulled up to the job while I was protesting. She got out and talked to the roofers for 5 to 10 minutes. Besides it isn’t me she has to answer to, it is the legal system for what she admitted to in the paper.   lone protester (Quote)
30. One more thing, I don’t have to justify my actions to you or anyone else. The fact is that there were illegal aliens on that job and the homeowner told me so himself. So he broke our laws too. 34. Hey Lone Protester; I’m writing from lakewood NJ home to OVER 25,000 illegal aliens and counting!! I’ve been a lone protester now for nearly four years! Standing out on our main street snapping pics of the contractors picking up the illegals – its disgusting, they are destroying this town and nobody in power, gives a darn!! I’ve been called every name in the book dude; thats all these folks have to go with. They aren’t smart enough to realize that this country is going and going fast. Rewarding the scum that crosses our borders illegally and DEMANDING rights!! As if they had any! These folks drink waaaaaaaaay too much; they are all living in a fantasy world! REWARD ME – I’ve been paying taxes for decades – They’re coming here and having dozens of anchor babies each; getting food stamps, and anything else they can, off the backs of american taxpayers. Closes hospitals, ruining our public school systems and destroying any semblance of quality of life here! Are they kiddin me!??? Did you know that, to date, since 9/11 over 48,000 American citizens have been killed by illegals?! Did you know that only 27,279 American soldiers have been killed in the Iragi War? 38. I think yer gonna be angry for a while my friend! I’ve been angry for a few years now, LOL! I think the only way I don’t loose my complete little mind is to be as involved as I can be - But sitting back and watching my town become a third world nation is sickening to me. The beautiful homes and ma and pa stores are all gone now; replaced with Mexican stores where they only speak Spanish. Neighborhoods that used to be settled for generations are disappearing at warp speed; being replaced by over crowded homes looking like trash. No upkeep; no maintenance; no grass cutting; garbage stacked on the sides of the homes; windows smashed; vehicles parked everywhere, replacing the green grass that used to grow so lushly. Parties every weekend; blaring Mexican music; drunk mexicans SO drunk they can’t even walk straight; we watch them as they climb behind the wheel of their illegal vehicles and take off onto the public roads. When they do have accident’s they merely flee the scene; after all, who can track them down? They are here illegally. False registions; no insurance; false driver’s licenses. Its a never ending scene that seems to develop daily and grow even worse each night that passes us by. I used to enjoy walking down our Main Street and window shopping, or stopping in for little knick knacks; or popping in at the bakery for some goodies to take home. Not anymore…I am continually harassed if I dare to walk down that same street with my beautiful daughters. They have no respect for me or for them. I’m afraid to be in the same area with them. I don’t know who they are; where they are from; if they are escaped criminals; killers, rapists, molesters – I cannot risk my children being anywhere near them; so we avoid Main Street now… I don’t even go to the local Supermarket anymore either – I drive clear into the next town over to go food shopping. I used to go to the local one; but while shopping, we would see the mexican ladies licking their fingers and then touching the fresh corn and other fruits and vegies. I felt sick to my stomach! I ran out of that store and have never once gone back! I don’t feel safe shopping there anymore. I drive two towns over to do any clothes shopping or other things I may need because I refuse to shop in Lakewood anymore. Its dirty, trashy, crowded with so many illegals, and the majority of them that are all over the street corners, drinking and just hanging out are MEN. Our beautiful parks here, Lake Shenandoah and Ocean County Park used to be so lovely. I would spend a great deal of time there with our three children. They practically grew up there. Our nature walks; talking our dog there; enjoying the beautiful fall colors, duck watching. But now, we can’t. I haven’t been able to take them there for a couple of years now. Its been completley taken over by the huge number of illegals. The grass, which used to be so pretty and green, has now been destroyed because they have turned it into a soccer field!! The trash and Corona bottles and bottle caps litter the entire park area. They take over the basketball hoops and park everywhere, even on the grass entrance ways. They blast their music there and walk all over the trails we used to enjoy. We find rubbers, beer containers, and bottles filled with urine that they leave behind. Not to mention the huge amount of trash they leave. They never seem to be able to leave anywhere CLEAN. So the anger you feel my friend, you will feel for a long time. I don’t think anyone in power has any plans on getting rid of the scum that has invaded our land. With the numbers as they are; and there not pretty; 48,000 American citizens have been killed by illegals since 9/11 – and only 27,279 American soldiers have died in the Iragi war…Whats wrong with this picture?
