The trial
I wonder if anyone has considered the same specific US court procedure that just came to my mind.
Normally every person who testifies is sworn in, hand on the Bible, and swears to tell the truth. Which allows them to be charged with perjury if they either intentionally lie, unintentionally lie or in some cases just miss speak.
Will the terrorists be exempt from swearing on the bible to tell the truth?
Will only the American citizens who will testify be obligated to swear on the bible to tell the truth, on threat of being charged with perjury?
Will no one have to swear on the bible to tell the truth, which could lead to everyone not telling the truth?
How can there be an honest and lawful trial where no one is obligated to tell the truth?
Or even worse only some will have to tell the truth after being sworn in, those who are not sworn in can say anything they want, truth or not.
Ask a few lawyers, I bet they can’t come up with a logical, answer.
