Dear God, we humble ourselves to you the great creator, the one to whom we owe everything and we humbly ask these things from you in your son’s name our Lord Jesus Christ. Lord help the little children whose parents are staring in the face of foreclosure, help the grandfather and grandmother struggling to keep what they have worked for all their lives. Please help the people who after giving years of their lives to their companies and careers have suddenly found they must start over from scratch, help the single mother who has lost one of her jobs because of cut backs and is right now trying to figure out how to buy groceries.
Help our nation’s people frozen by fear by all of the different bills being pushed by our leaders that enacted could cause them to fall deeper in debt, help our legislators to know for whom they work and to work for them not against them. Bless the gardens so that your people may have food, bless our work so that it may flourish and bless our country once again. Dear God, you blessed us once before a long time ago, when a bunch of farmers decided they should be free, bless us now so that we can remain free. We are aware that some in our country have turned from you and we by our silence in the past have given our consent and for this we are truly sorry Lord. In the words of Abraham Wilt Thou destroy the righteous with the wicked? Shall not the judge of all the earth do right? We humbly beg of you, your blessing upon your children so that we may continue to be the light you want us to be.
Count not our faults and faltering we beg of you Father for no earthly man or woman can be without sin, but answer our prayer according to your good works and lead us back unto your good graces. God, please bless America again.
