America At War: Internal and External

America At War: Internal and External
By: Robert Rohlfing

http://thedrumbeatofliberty.com/?p=364

America faces a crossroads at this moment in time as we face threats internal and external. Many of these threats are obvious such as the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and many more fly under the radar for the vast majority of people such as the invasion of our country across our southern border. Recently we are witnessing a renewed threat of hostilities on the Korean peninsula and the internal threat of terrorism within our borders and strife and violence being ginned up by radicals on the far left and far right. We have groups in this country attempting to create division through class warfare and racial apathy so that the divide and differences can be exploited.

The heavy hand domestically to control the population and to “nudge” peoples regard of individual freedoms and the liberties entrusted within the Constitution has slowly begun to clamp down all in the name of “safety”. It was once said by Benjamin Franklin,
“They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.”
Today Americans are being forced to give up those essential liberty’s at an alarming pace. We can cite things from the recent TSA measures at the airports to the emergence of cameras on our streets filming our day to day lives. Through Political Correctness we have slowly given up our rights to voice grievances to things that in the past might be considered common sense, and have slowly allowed ourselves to be intimidated to the point that we question to what extent we can voice those grievances.

Through these intimidation tactics Americans have been forced to submit to the basic infringement of personal privacy and the basic guarantees that the Constitution afforded such as; the protection from invasion by those of a foreign country, freedom of the press to report offences by local or federal officials, and the right to move freely about without censure from the government to name but a few.

Over time we have slowly allowed ourselves to be conditioned to not question the establishment or voice opposition to authority. Many examples can be cited, one of these is the Patriot Act, when this was first established some of the same people that stood in opposition to this are now the same people that are the loudest voices to enact further intrusions upon the Constitution and our personal freedoms. Likewise the opposite hold true some of the same people that were calling for this to be enacted are now those who have realized giving up small pieces of freedom in the name of safety only opens the doors to the free flow of further measures that chips away at the essential liberties that we hold dear. The same can be said that through the intimidation of political correctness we are unable to address the true threats such as the policy of open borders and terrorism from the hands of a well defined enemy. Instead in the name of “safety” and political correctness we have allowed those of power to slowly erode our freedoms and move in the direction of totalitarian rule.

In the Constitution it states that those elected officials that we allow limited authority to have, are first and foremost designated to protecting our rights guaranteed within the Constitution and threats from those who wish to cause harm and invasion both foreign and domestic. Today this has been so bastardized through political ideology that those who hold the reins of power have decided to target not those who are invading this country or those who clearly have declared war upon our population just because we exist, but to instead target those that stand in opposition to the ideology and agenda that they would like to bring forth. With this Presidents consent the DOJ and DHS are the two driving forces behind this assault on you the American citizen. Instead of addressing the clear and present dangers that are obvious to the public at large, they instead have targeted through broad based measures and specifically targeted campaigns to making you the enemy instead of those who pose the threat to this country.

Recently we have begun to witness these assaults with the DHS attempting to persuade people that those who affiliate themselves with the growing Tea Party Movement or those who point out that the war and invasion by those across our southern border need to be classified as possible domestic terrorists. We have the DOJ filing lawsuits in the name of these invaders, and we have an administration that instead of looking out for the rights of American citizens are more concerned about the “rights” of those who have invaded our country. We have a DOJ that instead of protecting the rights of citizens in the one essential act of freedom to be allowed to vote without intimidation, to instead protect the “right” of those who clearly and documented attempted to establish the sense of intimidation that those in totalitarian states deal with when voting for representation. When you have an agency such as the DHS targeting the public at large instead of centering in on the real threats you have an agency that may have grown to large and to powerful that they are allowed to “nudge” you into a false sense of security at the expense of your rights guaranteed within the Constitution. You have a sister agency protecting this agency in these endeavors at the same time failing uphold the basic reason for this agency to exist and that is to protect you the citizen.

As we face these many crossroads one might question that we are not only faced with war from external threats, but also by threats internally and that those threats are not only coming from the most obvious but from those that we have entrusted with our security. Many forces are at work in the background that are working to erode our liberties and freedoms, from the emergence of the Socialists and Labor Movement allied together with those groups that advocate on behalf of those who wish to fundamentally transform this country from an independent nation that protects its borders and the right of citizens to address grievances upon their liberties. We have elements of our government that fail to uphold the basic principles that they are assigned to uphold, and in all of this we have a world that is moving closer to the brink of all out war, with America at the center with the largest target placed upon its back.

One has to question just how far we as citizens will allow for our liberties and freedoms to be encroached upon and the fundamental transformation in the name of “safety” that we allow internal threats by those less obvious to trump those by the most obvious.Share on Facebook

Generation Of Disservice

Generation Of Disservice
By: Robert Rohlfing

http://thedrumbeatofliberty.com/?p=358

What we have done to follow on generations is a disservice to all of those who came before us. This is not an exclusive thing to those of us in the United States. Around the world we see that the lessons of the past and the warnings that those lessons hold are being ignored. In most cases repeating many of the worst case scenarios that led to so much strife and anguish of the past. As such we all hold the honor of blame for allowing this to occur.

In 1905 American Philosopher George Santayana wrote in his book; Life of Reason, ” Those who cannot remember the past, are condemned to repeat it. “, this we are seeing right now with the drumbeat of ignorance and denial that revision of history and overt manipulation of popular opinion has allowed to ferment within the societal structures the world over. We are witnessing the same cause and effect scenarios play out, and many of the same turbulent forces of agitation being perpetrated as though a chess game is being realigned to once again sweep the hard won gains of those who came before have afforded us.

Today, just as in the late 19th century and early 20th, we see the same verbiage of class warfare and calls for aggressive discourse to fill the streets. Many of those behind this modern day upheaval are those who follow the same playbook of those who perpetrated it in the past. The list is long and the forces are polarizing in the way that they pull the strings of the unwary and the unwise. The flames of anarchy are being stoked just as they were then that allowed for transformational institutionalized oppression to follow in the wake. The omnipresent boot of tyranny has always been placed on those who thought that they were fighting for security at the behest of liberty. Those who followed the call for socialism in whatever form you would like to label it in the past only allowed for small slices of individual freedoms to be taken from them one step at a time. In the extreme case such as communism that boot was placed upon the neck with such force, that those who were led to believe that this would be their saving grace only found that the choking breaths that they were allowed only delayed the slow death of a society.

No institution of man is perfect, not capitalism nor socialism. Abuse is prevalent within both institutions, and unjust behaviors can be perpetrated equally as a result. The warning signs of the turning cycle of repeated history was staring us all in the face, we chose to ignore the lessons of the past and have allowed for the reemergence of the same factors that led to the strife of the past to once again rear its ugly head. Forces of division have once again moved to the forefront and the anguish of generations to come will result due to our disservice of not heeding the warnings.Share on Facebook

The Political Correct Myth Of The Crusades

The Political Correct Myth Of The Crusades

by: Robert Rohlfing
www.thedrumbeatofliberty.com

The Political Correct myth is that Christians started the wars known as the Crusades right? This is something that over time has been revised and I just cannot understand why really. There is no real harm in documenting the truth in history as long as it has the ability to be shown.
The Crusades were fought by both sides under different names, but at the initial stage the Christians were reacting to one of the first Jihads declared against them. The Crusades only started after five centuries of Islamic Jihad had conquered and annihilated, or forcibly converted, over two thirds of what had formerly been the Christian world. Shortly after the Islamic conquest of Jerusalem, in 638, Christian pilgrims were harassed, massacred, and early in the 8th Century, 60 Christian pilgrims from Amoriem were crucified.
This was something taught before the inception of political correctness, I learned about much of this in public school in World History courses that I took. Even at that time it was beginning to move toward an agenda that was less factual and more so called “sensitive”.

The politically correct dogma that the Crusades were unprovoked, imperialist actions against the peaceful, indigenous Muslim population is simply not accurate. Such propaganda reflects a hostility for Western civilization, and often against Christianity itself, rather than any actual historical research. Muslims extorted ransom money from pilgrims going to the Holly Lands, and threatened to ransack the most holy churches in Christendom such as the Church of the Resurrection

In the 8th Century all crosses were banned in Jerusalem and the practice of Christianity was likewise banned. Remember this is the Holly land for all three religions, In 772 all Christians and Jews were ordered to have their hands branded (sound familiar). In 789 Muslims beheaded a monk in Bethlehem and went about plundering and burning the monastery as well as murdering Christians

In 923, a new wave of destruction of churches was launched by the Muslim rulers. In 937, Muslims went on a rampage in Jerusalem on Palm Sunday plundering and destroying the Church of Calvary and the Church of the Resurrection.

In 1004 the Fatimid Calipha Abu Ali al–Mansur al–Hakim unleashed a violent wave of church burning and destruction, confiscation of Christian property, and ferocious slaughter of both Christians and Jews. Over the next ten years, thirty thousand churches were destroyed and vast numbers of Believers were forcibly converted or killed.

In 1009, Al-Hakim ordered that the most holy churches in Christendom – the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the Church of the Resurrection in Jerusalem – be destroyed. These examples led to what we know as the Crusades and why Christians responded in the ways that they did.

This is not to say that the ensuing wars were brutal beyond belief to those of us today and that the Christians were without reproach. We all understand that Christians throughout their history did many things less desirable compared to what we see that it has evolved since such as the Inquisitions, but through reform this religion adapted and changed into what it is today. We see many of the same examples of the way the followers of Islam looked at other religions then as we do today and this cannot be denied, but to place blame on Christians for the Crusades one needs to reexamine the events that led up to them in a historical perspective.

The characterization of the Crusaders as greedy for loot, only out for personal gain, is simply out of touch with reality. Those who participated in the Crusades saw it as an act of sacrifice rather than of profit. Most who did manage to survive and return came back with nothing material to show for their efforts.

Similarly the modern PC myth that the Crusaders attempted to forcibly convert Muslims to Christianity is a politically motivated fantasy. Search as one might through the writings and records of the Crusaders, one will not find any mention of Crusaders seeking to convert the Sarracens or the Turks. The Crusaders saw themselves as Pilgrims seeking to recapture and liberate Christian lands from vicious invaders.

The crusaders were reacting to over four centuries of relentless Islamic Jihad, which had wiped out over 50% of all the Christians in the world and conquered over 60% of all the Christian lands on earth – before the crusades even began . Many of the towns liberated by the crusaders were still over 90% Christian when the crusaders arrived.

The Politically Correct revision of history does not take into account that the Crusaders were not the initial aggressors. In the first 100 years after the death of Mohammad, Muslim invaders destroyed over 3,200 Christian churches and Muslim armies sacked and slaughtered their way across some of the greatest Christian cities in the world, including Alexandria, Carthage, Antioch and Constantinople.

The Crusades ended over 700 years ago. Islamic Jihad continues to this day. But one needs to ask without the Crusades would modern day Europe and America exist as we know it today? We can go about being Politically Correct and ignore the same threats that existed then that exist today, or we can look with open eyes to what is really occurring around us and this in no way is an attempt to incite violence it is a perspective of truth that needs to move past the suppression of revision.

The True Shame Of Class Warfare

The True Shame Of Class Warfare
By: Robert Rohlfing

http://thedrumbeatofliberty.com/?p=348

Karl Marx described in his 1848 Communist Manifesto the ten steps or 10 Planks of Communism, necessary to destroy a free enterprise system and replace it with a system of omnipotent government power, so as to effect a communist socialist state. Marx argued that capitalism, like previous socioeconomic systems, will inevitably produce internal tensions which will lead to its destruction. Just as capitalism replaced feudalism, he believed socialism will, in its turn, replace capitalism, and lead to a stateless, classless society called pure communism.
In America today this is done through a method known as “Class Warfare”. This is done to attempt to divide Americans and has deep roots in Marxism. The Democrats have attempted to do this by trying to “shame” you if you oppose “Progressive” Ideology, time and again they fall back on the same rhetoric of saying that if you do not agree that you want grandma to be forced to eat dog food or that you want children to be forced to work in sweat shops when this is the farthest from the truth.

Many who are pushing forth this ideology hold true to these world views:
Agnosticism:
Holds that truth is “unknowable.”
Pragmatism:
Is more concerned with what ‘works’ than with what’s true.
Liberalism/Modernism:
We must rethink and adapt our concept of God and truth to fit with modern culture and modes of thinking.

The common rule that is most apparent is that they believe that the Golden Rule is that “common good” trumps independent choice. Many are believers that you will only find salvation through collective means instead of independent merit. The primary word here is collective, everything revolves around this one word. It is not believed that through independent choice that you are not able to survive and as such power and control will need to be handed over to a central body.

Socialism which is at the core of Marxism believes that man is cruel and indifferent to man, but to advance mankind you have to create the divide that will allow for the indifference and cruelty to exist and that is through propagation of class warfare. When this occurs advancements of a free society are discounted such as the fact that through competition and choice the greatest achievements of our time has occurred. It is believed that due to the fact that some rise above others through their own enterprise and will that they have to be punished somehow, what is lost is the fact when you have a central body limiting choice you create an environment for stagnation. In doing so not only does the individual suffer but the collective suffers in kind.

Socialism and Marxism attempts to reduce the complexity of society to make it rational, to eliminate inequity. Generally speaking, it succeeds only in reducing man, and eventually eliminating the dignity and grandeur of mankind. It completely corrodes all concept of the elevation of man, and of mankind.

As it was stated long ago, give a generation of children to those who would espouse a given ideology and you can transform the way of thought for years to come. This we have seen in our schools where many of these theory’s have been pushed upon our children, as a result young adults today have not been exposed to some of the faults and dangers that surround this way of thought. Through media older generations are bombarded daily in the attempt to transform their way of though, and when you have the choice to an alternative the old practice of “shaming” is attempted to discredit the opposing ideology.

Class warfare is the vehicle that modern Socialist/Marxist uses to create this divide so that we are led to believe that if you succeed in life you deserve not to enjoy the fruits of your success. They attempt to pass blame for this success off as exploitation when all along the way to that success mutual free choices have been made by all involved. No one forced an individual to work or purchase anything that those individuals used as vehicles to their success. The choice has always been in the individual to seek alternatives and through a free society these have been made available unlike in a centrally controlled society where options are limited to a few approved designated choices.

Time and again we see those who would like to “shame” those who listen to Conservative talk radio, or Fox News, but what these folks do not like to point out is the fact that as an individual you are not forced or limited to just these choices. You have the freedom not to listen or watch these programs, and you have the freedom to choose alternatives unlike in many cases such as places that practice the ideology where central control prevails where you are forced to the approved programming.

Another example is the castigation of places such as Wal-mart. As an individual you have the option in a free society not to shop at this store. With an open market place you have the opportunity to shop at a competing store such as Target, that is your choice as an individual. Under a centrally controlled society that Socialist/Marxist would like for you to adhere to, the individual choice in many cases can be taken from you so that the approved location for your purchases can be thought of as beneficial to the “common good”. What is overlooked though is that by doing so you allow for your choices to be taken from you and that you will be dictated to what you are allowed and that is control in its basic form.

Class warfare far from working to improve society at large only works to limit the individual and mankind as a whole. Socialism though it is a grandiose dream by many only allows for stagnation through limitations. Marxism is the underlying theory that a classless society will occur despite the examples where it has been employed where distinct classes occurred, and the ability to rise from one to the other was not afforded on the individual basis but pre determined instead.

To reach the end goal those who follow the “Progressive” ideology that is nothing more than window dressing to the root ideology. Feel as though any means employed justifies the tactics used. Examples are Class Warfare, attempted demeaning of those who disagree, and attempts at silencing the opposition. No one is fooled by these attempts and despite the attempts to do so the American public at large still resist this attempted transformation.

Through independent education and the freedom of thought, what is most ingrained in Americans of independence and freedom of choice and the resistance to being controlled or intimidated will never transition to the failed ideology of Socialism/Marxism.

The true shame of class warfare is that it does not unite people in a common cause, it only works to further divide and works in the opposite direction of those who attempt to utilize this tactic.

The Time Has Come To Swallow Our Pride

The Time Has Come To Swallow Our Pride
By: Robert Rohlfing

http://thedrumbeatofliberty.com/?p=350

Today we are at a crossroads as a nation and as a society, one path will lead us down the road to becoming an entitlement society and the other will allow us to become independent individuals once again. To become independent individuals again where we are not reliant on handouts from the government or indentured to the philosophy of communal salvation, we have to swallow our pride and realize that the hard thing needs to occur and it will come on an individual basis by each and every one of us.

It is said that Americans will not do certain jobs, that it is below us. That is the first thing that needs to change! It is said that we could not survive without the labor of immigrants both legal and illegal and this attitude is the first that needs to be overcome. American citizens at this moment in time are averaging 9.5% reported unemployment and between 14 – 17% under employment. In contrast the immigrant population both legal and illegal is averaging around 4.5% and this is has many factors that Americans helped bring upon themselves.

We have all heard of those that would rather sit on unemployment for the duration until the benefits run out than seek out employment in fields that they did not previously hold. This is part of the problem and this attitude will have to be overcome, be it by force to reduce length of the time that people can be on unemployment or the reduction in moneys paid out. This is swallowing the pride folks and this is something that we all have to do if we ever want to get back on our own two feet and come off of the cycle of borrowing money from foreign countries to pay for our own laissez-faire.

Traditionally the American worker is one who has taken pride in leading the world in productivity, we were the ones who became the arsenal of Democracy around the world out producing the countries that were allied against us during two world wars and the cold war that followed. We led the standard in producing the peacetime products that were sold around the globe, and we became the breadbasket the world over with our agriculture production. Along the way though Americans did the jobs that many refuse to do so now and look to others to do in our steed.

Somewhere along this path the American worker decided that they were too good to do the jobs that we turn over to immigrants to do now. At one time not too long ago high school kids and college students would fill the need at fast food establishments, they would bus tables, and seek out grounds maintenance jobs. Twenty something’s would fill the entry level positions and Thirty something’s would soldier on in mid level seniority positions. The pay was not always the best, but it still created the environment of independence that many today seem to have lost the desire to seek out.

At one time in this country the worker was willing to take on jobs that may not have been glamorous and high paying such as picking vegetables or working on the line at some chicken processing plant. They still choose to do so instead of turning to a handout that someone else has to pay for. If they lost these positions they did not cry foul, instead they would seek out employment on the same level or take on jobs that might be at a lower scale. Yes they may have to work two jobs to do so but they took pride in the fact that they were able to provide for themselves and were independent from being a burden unto others.

We all know the current climate of employment and the fact that many of the high paying jobs have exited this country for various reasons and various blames. In many senses we are as much to blame for this as any company or any action that the government may have for this occurrence, we just refuse to do the hard thing and acknowledge this fact.

We have demanded cheaper products and higher salaries, we have demanded higher retirement packages and more government entitlements and this has led to higher taxes that drives business from our shores. We allowed for public sector employees to make salaries in many cases twice what the private sector employee makes, and guaranteed that they will receive six figure retirement packages when the private sector is cutting back across the board. We have refused to swallow our pride and take those jobs that may pay less, but still were traditional jobs that we would take on. For this we are as much to blame as any CEO or Congressman and the time has come that we may have to reexamine what path we will go down in the future.

In Europe today we are seeing the net results of over immigration and entitlement mentality. In America we are coming to realize that we are facing the same thing but with a debt load that out paces all of the countries in the EU combined. We will not be able to sustain the growth in entitlements and the over abundance of growth in the public sector at the behest of the private sector, and this is on full display in California, Illinois, and New York to name a few.

We will have to start changing our mentality and do the hard thing as American workers and take on those jobs that ” Americans ” won’t do once again. We are going to have to start weaning ourselves from the mentality that we are all owed something, and if we have to we are going to have to take on multiple jobs and lower paying jobs if we ever want start digging our way out of the hole that we all helped place ourselves in. To do this the time has come to swallow our pride!Share on Facebook

The Real Work Begins Post 2010 Sweep

The Real Work Begins Post 2010 Sweep

As the euphoria and celebrations wind down the time for the real work begins! The 2012 election season begins immediately and the time to address the hard issues has arrived. No longer can we be allowed to be complaint about the fact that common sense seemed to escape us over the century or so, we have slowly become a society that feels as though we can live in excess and not address the hard things that needs addressing.

How did we become a country that sends our children to failing schools where we rank 25th in the industrialized world all the while pouring billions of dollars into the fire of failure? How did we become a country where our elected officials decide that spending millions of dollars to study what effects injecting THC into a mouse has to do with the overall importance of allocating our taxpayer dollars? The mouse gets high and it is a blatant waste of recourses that are limited. Things such as sending hundreds of millions of dollars over to Africa to teach males how to properly wash their genitals has no bearing to the viability to the longevity of this Republic and the time has come to address wasteful spending such as this once and for all.

Some of the harder issues that are common sense also needs addressing and we have those from all sides that want to refuse actually tackling these issues. No one is calling for the complete illumination of the social welfare programs or all the entitlement programs, what is being called for is a common sense approach to them and the realization that many are going to have to be curtailed and that yes many are not going to be too happy about this fact. We cannot please all the people all the time and we cannot afford to pay for all the programs in their entirety. Take for instance Social Security, we all know that in the next few years that not only will it become insolvent, but that with the baby boomers entering into the pool we will no longer be able to pass this entitlement down to follow on generations. A common sense approach that so few would like to look at is enabling younger generations the ability to take a portion of what they contribute and place it in a private account reserved for them exclusively while still contributing the bulk to help pay for those who have paid in for all their lives.

The healthcare debacle that was passed this last year also needs to be addressed for so many reasons that I will not list. Make no mistake we do need to overhaul some of our healthcare system, but that does not mean that we move to mandate by government decree that we purchase and become dependent on only the options that the government will so call provide. Many say that with the 2,000 page plus law that this will not be able to be rolled back , but they forget that it can be defunded line by line to force this to be readdressed.

The same thing that is being forced on the private citizen with cutbacks and tightening of the belt needs to be forced upon the public sector as well. As private citizens have been forced to except roll back in wages and benefits both union and non union, the time has come to address the fact that the public sector has to join in and except the same. No longer can the private sector prop up those who are making twice the rate as those in the private since we are the ones who pay these salaries and benefits, no longer can we afford to have redundant agencies and redundant expenditures that holds us back from digging out of our economic mess and these are but a few of the hard things that we all have to work at addressing at all levels of our society.

The real work begins at holding those we elect accountable for the offices that they hold. The time has arrived that we as citizens demand that real and decisive investigations and punishments be dealt out to those who abuse the powers that they are entrusted with. We cannot rely on the fact that the media and those in power will police themselves properly even with all the new members in the halls of government. It is up to each and every one of us to do the hard work of exposing and demanding that they are held accountable and just because we have entered into a new cycle with new players that does not mean that things will change unless we continue to hold them accountable no matter what party they are in.

Over the last century we have slowly been sliding down the road to serfdom, we have blindly allowed for this to occur and we have failed to do the hard thing as citizens. We have allowed our wealth and common sense to be exploited, we have allowed our children to be burdened with the price tag for the follies that we demanded, and we have allowed for our children to become convinced that they are entitled to things that they have not earned. This goes against the principles of what it means to be a free society where self empowerment trumps self entitlement. We are not our brothers keepers we are our brothers partners, and we will not find salvation collectively, we will find it one person at a time individually and the actions and burdens we pass on will tell how we come to this end goal.

The hard work and hard sacrifices that we must embark upon will not come easy, but make no mistake the time has come that we have to bite the bullet and embark upon them! So as many rejoice that the pendulum swung once again, and many question just how this will effect what they may have hoped for with the direction that we were headed in, the real question that needs addressing is will we all come together and look at the issues with common sense and begin to dig in and do the real work to right this ship that is listing to port? A divided house we sink; but a united citizen base we begin to float once again!

Not always as it seems

Not always as it seems

Besides the fact that it is sanctioned in the Quran to use Taqiyya or the art of deception to reach an end goal such as the imposition of Sharia law for example, and the fact that traditionally those who have followed the Islamic faith historically built Mosques over the centers of other faiths we need to also look at the historical fact that once they have conquered a land be it with force or through other means they have gone about restricting further education and any other teachings besides what is sanctioned in the Quran.

We can look at how this was done once they conquered Egypt and burned down and destroyed the Great Library of Alexander. This is not to say that at one time those who followed the faith were on some of the leading edges of discovery and learning, it is when the most radical elements take over and this seems to be the general course of things through intimidation and threats of death that we see all of the restrictions occur.

To cite some of the places that were former Christian and Jewish centers of worship that were destroyed and built over we can name three of the most famous : The Dome of the Rock, the Al Aqsa Mosque, in Jerusalem is built on top of one of the holiest sites in Judaism, the Temple Mount. It was built over the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem, at the ruins of the Jewish temple. And The former St. Sophia’s Basilica, once the world’s largest cathedral and orthodox patriarchal basilica, was torn down and replaced with the principal mosque of Istanbul as well as the Cordoba mosque in Spain. With the recent desire by some to build the Mosque in New York just blocks away from ground zero one might ask why they call it the Cordoba Intuitive, what is hidden in the background that just might not be as it is being portrayed? After all we know through the Quran that it is perfectly acceptable to use Taqiyya to reach an end goal, just as we have been led astray by having to adhere to the whole false doctrine of Political Correctness to not have the ability to exercise free speech and call things out for what they may be.

One has to look at how Muslims viewed Alexander The Great by naming him Dhul-Qarnayn that translates to The Two Horned One, this for many reasons can be traced back to the fact that through his many victory’s he defeated many Muslim nations. The ruler of Egypt Ptolemy II built the great library in tribute to Alexander and at one time it held over 5,000 books. This at a time when there was no printing press and at a time when the vast majority of people were illiterate. The Library opened up avenues of higher learning open to the vast majority of people and attracted the great scholars of the time. In contras the vast majority of those who followed the Islamic faith were restricted to memorization of the Quran and it was deemed that this was the only thing that was appropriate for the followers. Through the conquests this was forced on those who they conquered and a great time of restrictions of discovery and education occurred as a result. I am not saying that this can occur in modern times but as we know many things do not always seem as they appear for the face value as long as it is sanctioned to deceive.

The Last I Checked We Are Still A Sovereign Nation

The Last I Checked We Are Still A Sovereign Nation

The last I checked we are a sovereign nation still that has our own set of laws that we have to abide by. In recent times we have seen a slow move to end round our laws by those who are supposed to be the protectors of our laws, this comes from both sides of the isle so let us not fool ourselves for one minute that blame resides on one party or the other. Our politicians take the same oath that our military and law enforcement does and that is to protect and defend the Constitution, but we have seen that many have been working in the background stealthily to move us away from our sovereign laws to more of a so called world law.

We have seen examples of the intimidation to do so coming from the United Nations and from those within our own political class. Recent examples are what has taken place in Arizona with the new law that has been enacted that mirrors our laws at the Federal level, some other examples are the attempts to circumvent our second amendment rights through United Nation Treaties on small arms that would then set a precedent if ratified by our Senate as a ruling law over our rights guaranteed in the Bill of Rights. To further examine some of these treaties both trade and otherwise that are harmful to our sovereignty we need to look at The Law Of The Sea Treaty that is slowly creeping its way back into the inner circles of our government.

One might ask during the recent Oil Spill in the Gulf Of Mexico President Obama and his administration banned off shore drilling by American Companies but made no call for those who share these waters to do the same. In the Law Of The Sea Treaty one nation gives up certain rights and privileges to territorial water rights that are enjoyed now so that it is governed and shared by competing countries such as China for example. In the move that President Obama enacted he in a quasi way enacted similar legislation that is hidden in that treaty, but since this is off the radar for the most part the public at large is unaware that this occurred.

One of the key reasons that we need to be aware of who we send to the Senate is the fact that this body is the ones who ratify and approve the treaties, without the approval and passage in this body none of the documents and agreements that the State Department and the President signs can be made into a binding contract. President Washington warned in his Farwell Speech about the dangers of entering into foreign treaties and long term permanent allegiances with foreign nations, he dedicated a large portion of his address to this issue because he seen the clear dangers to the Republic that it represented.

While Washington advocated a policy of good faith and justice toward all nations he argued that entering into long term agreements only clouds the judgment and separation that can lead to blowing minor offences out of proportion, and the lending of individual sovereign rights of a nation to diminish. He further referenced the dangers that in doing so only lends to the increase in foreign influence over the American people and its Government. He stated that it will be “Real Patriots” that resist and ignore popular opinion of the moment the influence of “friendly” nations that seek to influence our political class at any given time in the benefit of their nations best interest , but not always in ours. We can see examples of this with the whole so called “Green movement”, and how certain treaties that our political class would like to enter into that in all regards do not benefit the citizens of these United States.

As a result of rejection of the majority of the citizenry to many of these measures we have seen the back door process to enjoin us to many of the things in those treaties. Take for example “Cap and Trade (tax)” , this is a legislative measure aimed directly at the citizens of this nation to not benefit our nation but to benefit the pockets of those in the background and those citizens of other nations. This measure is imbedded in much of what was in the Kyoto Treaty and what was being proposed in Denmark last year. This was rejected on both accounts in the Senate because they knew that the citizens of this nation do not approve of this legislation nor the dangers imposed in those treaties as a whole. We do still have those working in the background to implement much of these things that the vast majority reject but they will do so through the unelected body’s of government such as the EPA and other agencies, we may even see the attempt to have it rammed down the throats of the citizenry during a lame duck session as well. Again this is why it is so imperative to whom we choose to represent us and who we elect.

We have long been a nation of citizens that have resigned ourselves to being complacent to the affairs of our governing , we have been told time and again that we just do not understand, but I beg to differ we do understand what is in the best interest of our nation and when we refuse to hold our political class accountable we only embolden them to cause us further harm. Times have changed and a great awakening and a great rebalance of involvement and participation is occurring and as such we are witnessing the blatant resistance of the so called “elite” political class as a result.

More and more each day it has become more apparent that “We The People” are stepping outside of the box and refusing to settle for the limited education on these matters and are taking it upon ourselves to self educate like no other time in history. We are starting to once again return to what the founding fathers originally intended and that is to hold those we elect to represent us accountable for their actions, it does not matter what political party that they may come from because it takes fortitude to start weeding out those that have gone against the citizenry of this country and to make them return to the oath that they all take in upholding our Constitution and the best interest of its citizenry. For those who refuse to protect our sovereignty a warning needs to occur, many of us are not as dumb as you might think and we can see what you are attempting, we have taken heed of the warnings passed down from Washington and we will work to expose your actions and work to kick you out of office and put in those that might still care about our Independence. If those who we elect do not do so we will kick you out as well because the last I checked we are still a sovereign nation that has our own set of laws and interests for the people of this nation and not the special interest of so called politically correct do-gooders!

“Let us therefore animate and encourage each other, and show the whole world that a Freeman, contending for liberty on his own ground, is superior to any slavish mercenary on earth.” ~ George Washington, July 2nd 1774

Partnerships In Blame And Recovery

Partnerships In Blame And Recovery

“If you accept the Queen’s shilling, you dance the Queen’s tune.”

There are three classes here in the United States, this is one of the few country’s that actually supports that and in large part it is due to the investors and those that actually employ us working class as we like to state. With the three classes of course there are varying degrees within each bracket, the large portion of citizens in this country are in the middle and even those in the upper lower are more wealthier than any in any other country. Admiration and dedication to those in the lower two are essential , but you cannot blanket state that those in the upper do not play a part in the welfare of all of us. They are the ones that employ us and yes in many cases they are better off, but do you take into account that they worked for the large part to get where they are at and that they have the same problems we do but on a different level? I am not defending the rich in no part and that is where you keep assuming, I do am not jealous of them at all and that is the difference. Is it fair that someone has more than I do or that they might be able to live more comfortably? No in many regards but as in all of life nothing is fair, you make do with what you have and you do what it takes to achieve on your own accord, you overcome diversity. That is what makes you an Individual.
Yes many are suffering right now and no it is not all of Obama’s fault, just as it is not the fault of the Bankers, Big Businessman, or the rich in its entirety. It’s all of our fault, and we only make it worse each time we forget that we are all in a partnership on this be it recovery, prosperity, or demise. Has the Government made fatal mistakes over time? Sure they have and they continue to do so when they continue to recklessly spend, just as we do in our personal lives at a smaller level and that is where things have to change.
We cannot continue to fund everything and that is a hard fact. To do so to continue being able to help those in need in this country we have to drastically reduce and cut money going to things that in all rights are less important and many of them are things that we all would feel like that we absolutely cannot cut but we are going to have to do so if we ever want the real opportunity to recover from where we are at. The second step is to create an environment for growth and renewal of employment and to do so we have to have the government step aside and allow those evil people that actually provide us with jobs the ability to do so.
Government was never , is never, and unable to support its citizenry. It relies on its citizenry to support it and always has no matter the ideological political system employed. It is a partnership just as it is a partnership between business and its employees, without the citizens and business the Government collapses and this is what we are seeing today. yes many factors helped lead us to this point and many mistakes were made along the way that has effected all of us and all should be held accountable equally instead of trying to pass the blame all the time or covering it up.
We blame the business for leaving this country, we blame them for looking for cheaper labor and an environment that is more conducive for them to remain in this country and this the Government did not do and that is where the true blame falls. You also have to blame the Government and recognize that it was them through different trade agreements and treaties that facilitated for the exodus of the manufacturing business in this country and not altogether the business. That blame falls on the shoulders of presidents from both parties past and present. The myth that we can survive as a service industry based economy is a fallacy and that has been brought to light with what we are seeing today. In the past it was the manufacturing industry that brought us out of economic slumps, but we have very little of that left and what we have left is so hampered and restricted that even they have to reduce the mechanisms that will help us to recover.
If we truly want to look at why the standard of living has decreased for the majority of people we have to look at those facts that we moved away from a industrial society to a service society that relied on consumers to keep propping up the economy. The fatal flaw with that is the fact that salaries are reduced in a service based economy, but we all lived the lifestyle of a industrial based society and demanded that the government provided the ability for us to do so, and guess what the investors and the big business were obliged in many cases by force and many cases by greed to do so. So once again we are as much to blame.
As I mentioned I am not defending the upper class, but I do recognize that we do need the partnership to exist if we want the ability to succeed on our own. I also recognize the fact that some hard things are going to have to occur and that is cutting the waste that our government keeps inflicting upon us. Programs and projects are going to have to be cut, wasteful spending that we cannot afford is going to have to be cut, and it is going to affect us in ways that we might not have felt acceptable in the past, but it has to occur plain and simple. If we want to be able to help those in need and give them the ability to once again stand on their two feet we cannot depend on the government to develop a mindset where we become dependent or stand in the way of the true machines that enables a person to provide for themselves at all levels and all classes.

I can start seeing 2012 from my yard!

I can start seeing 2012 from my yard!

With Obama clearly struggling to gin up his base and the mass exodus of Dem’s to be seen aligned with him the beginnings of the 2012 campaign is soon upon us.

The impact of his electioneering during the mid terms will be a clear sign of support outside of the Unions and far Left groups that he will be seeing come 2012. Yes he will retain those die hard’s that will support him, but those who catapulted him into office have shown a clear sign of discontent. He has lost the vast majority of the Independent vote already and the Young vote is disenfranchised more and more as the unemployment troubles impact them the most.

He has disenfranchised many in the Senior voting block with the Health Care law and his move away from the principles that founded this country. Surprisingly even some of the most extreme on the Left are becoming disenfranchised and have been coming out against him. He can clearly turn further left and that will diminish his chances to bring in the center or he can go further to the middle diminishing his base. Either way he will loose one or the other and that was his great problem pursuing the agenda that he did and will be his demise as long as fair elections take place.

So vote November 2nd, then start preparing for the next step because his camp has already been doing so and 2012 is not far on the horizon.

Leveling The Playing Field

Leveling The Playing Field
The time to face the reality of responsibility is now upon us! Sacrificing to stay within our means and to hold the government accountable to do the same not only goes to deter the greed that all of us were enticed with be it the financial institutions, big business, big labor, big government, and yes us the citizens that took us off the tracks in the first place.
With unemployment hovering around 10% and 1 in 7 Americans teetering on the poverty level facing the prospect that they may never recover from the losses that they incurred with the excess that they previously enjoyed, we cannot look to the government as the savior. We have been told time and again that if we just give this stimulus package a chance or if we support this or that welfare program that all will be well and that we will recover as a whole, but the sad truth of the matter is that none of these programs and over excessive welfare spending programs are helping recover our economy nor helping dig us out of the hole that we are currently facing.
The blame for this mess lays equally on our shoulders just as much as it lays on the shoulders of those we send to office. The more that we deny our role in this the longer it will take for us to have a chance to turn the tables on the spiraling demise that faces this great nation and society that we have come to take for granted. Just as we look to the mistakes that the government has made over the last 20 months and 6 years in congress we have to also realize that in many ways they have been mirroring many of the mistakes that we have made in our own personal lives. When the government decided that they can go on an orgy of new spending on frivolous programs and over exuberated special interest initiatives many are failing to recognize that this same paradigm occurred with the way that we ourselves conducted our lives. For some time now we made choices to decide that we can live in excess of the boundaries that are placed around us with what we earn and have on hand, and instead decided that it is perfectly acceptable to follow along a path of indulgence at the sacrifice of common sense. This same thing has and is playing out on a grander stage with the way that our government continues to throw cash at things that have no real bearing on recovery of growth or to set us back on a course that will allow us to progress into the future on an even keel.
When we continue to demand that we want it all, we make a conscious decision that we will have these things at all cost. We set up the prospect that our sustainability to balance our needs from our wants will cancel the common sense that states that we have to prioritize resources that would otherwise carry us forward and allow us to weather the rough waters that ebb and flow over the course of time. This fundamental rule has been ignored not only in the way that we lived beyond our means by purchasing homes that were beyond our income ratios, and living off of the illusion that we can continue to live by way of the credit card. The blame game is cast upon not only the government, but also big business and financial institutions that in all rights were catering to the demands that we put forth. It is easy to say that it is all the big bad bankers fault that we are in this mess due to the lending practices that they were allowed to exercise and that they continue to enjoy the rewards that came from this exercise in irresponsibility, but what fails to be mentioned time and again many also reaped rewards as well and it was that incentive that allowed the practices to continue unchecked.
The same people that are now the most vocal chastising these practices, were the same people that went about thinking that they were the new Donald Trump’s flipping one home after another. These same people were the ones running up the credit cards as if there were no limit putting in all the top line amenities at the same time trying to live the lifestyle of the rich and famous with new cars and diners out at all the fine restaurants. When the Congress took a path that everyone should be allowed the privilege of owning a home they took away the safeguards that restricted access to fraudulent loans to those that by no right should be approved for loans that could never be repaid. It was the demand that fueled the fire to our economic downfall and shared responsibility from all needs to be understood, if it was not our demand the banks would have never allowed so much credit to be issued and the time of playing class warfare and not accepting responsibility for our own actions is upon us.
As bitter a pill it may seem, shared responsibility and shared sacrifice is the only thing that is going to work to ever have a chance that allows us to recover from the mess of our own creation. Just as it has been forced on the vast majority of people that they had to reset the lifestyle that they were accustomed to, a reset of our mindset of reliance on big government, big business, and big labor to provide for all our demands has to be embraced. If we fail to do so we will just continue the revolving door that has allowed us to continue arriving time and again at the juncture that we are at today. We cannot spend our way out of this mess, that is the same theory as borrowing from one credit card to cover the balance on another. We cannot keep demanding that we get all the benefits and demands that hinders the growth of business that provides us with the jobs in the first place just because we feel that we are owed and that it might not be fair that someone else might make more or have more than us. The whole practice of basing the jealous approach to what we feel as fair only goes to divide us further and at some point those that do have will take their ball and go elsewhere, this we see with how our government and labor demand on the private sector business that they alone sacrifice through higher and higher taxes and demands that they provide by force to carry the burden set upon them through mandates that is not conducive of an environment that is friendly for them to survive. The working class has to share just as much as demanded of business and realize that if government continues to grow unabated and continues to attempt the course that it is currently on, where to be our brothers keepers that redistribution of wealth and resources to prop up those that may be unwilling and not unable to contribute equally that at some point the house of cards crumbles. If we do not set a course that is responsible and conducive to economic growth we will only stagnate and force the engines of growth to more friendly shores and then instead of seeing the poverty levels and unemployment levels as they currently sit we will see a steep rise all across the board and the reality that it was us that forced this to occur will be fully shared across the board.
Those that continue to want to play the class warfare game and demand that we have to take from another so that it levels the playing field better understand something said a long time ago that you can only take from someone until they run out of resources themselves and at that point where do you turn? Accepting shared responsibility and shared sacrifice is the only way that we ever will have a chance to not level the playing field, but to give the opportunity of a chance that the playing field is equal for all to succeed on.

For Whom The Bells Toll

For Whom The Bells Toll

Washington warned against the establishment of a party system and we did not take heed of this warning. Today we witness the true repercussions of allowing ourselves to become disengaged and complacent in the governing of our country, we have witnessed unprecedented corruption at all levels and power and control be handed to those who otherwise would be shunned by the general public . The fallacy that we were led to believe for so long that we actually had a say in issues and events that effect us all has been exposed and it is those who are in the positions of power from both Party’s that are now hearing the bells ring in their heads that the common person is fed up with the way that they have been hoodwinked.
The rise of the voice of the common person has sent a sense of fear into the establishment from both sides and we are starting to see the gates open up to the true character of these people. It is all about come to a head and those in the established elite are doing everything in their power to discredit any who challenge the status quo. We have witnessed this with how they attack those of us who have become engaged and we also witness it with the way they have attacked those in the bigger spotlight such as Palin and Beck, when these two emerged on the scene and the people started to relate to the message that they were espousing the establishment went into the attack mode and attempted to character assassinate as they always have when they feel the pressure against the system they adhere to. Time and again they were demonetized for things that everyone of us can relate to such as family issues such as teen pregnancy and alcoholism, but the hypocrisy of the establishment only shined even brighter each and every time they did so and the message that people can relate to such as common sense issues always rose above the flatulence and they endured and became even more popular.
Today we see the same thing happening with many who have started the process of assenting from the so called common ranks to buck the established hierarchy and the outright attacks and ignorance of those reeling at the prospects that control may be shifting from the hands of those who have not looked out for our interests to the hands of a common person is so appalling that they will do all in their power to squash this movement. The changing of the guard so to say will not be immediate and many of us are expecting that it will take place in the next two election cycles, but we need to be aware that it is going to be a monumental task and that perseverance will have to be the steadfast challenge facing us. The progressives chipped away for many generations to get to the place that they are at today, infiltrating both Party’s and as such it will be our task to continue chipping away at their defenses and attacks to establish common sense back into the fold and the shifting of power somewhat back into the hands of the common people.
The signs that they fear our ascendency is evident in the way that they continue to attack the methods that we are able to network and share information, it is also evident in the way that they have continued attacking us so called lesser class by saying that we just do not understand things and that we have to be led by our hands all along the way when that is the farthest from the truth. The time that the bells toll in the established elites time are ringing louder each and every day and those who continue to try and guide us in the directions that they deem are coming to a gradual end and it is in many ways predictable the way that they will react. We see this coming from both sides and when we witness this we have to call them on the table for it regardless of Party affiliation. The so called two party system has been a fallacy for too long now and the very fact that they have continued to just trade back and forth with little change all the while growing even more power over the commoner is going to be our down fall if we do not start stemming the tide and interject ourselves back into the fold. So let’s Ring those Bells loud and clear and put aside our differences on many issues and start interjecting common sense and common people that we can relate to and that can relate to us back into position so that we have a say once again !

Dangers Of Revisionism

Dangers Of Revisionism
We would be remiss if we did not fully understand that at the very core of any form of government that socialistic aspects form the nucleus to the very institution. The very makeup to having a government is to provide certain “benefits” and services, it is in how it is instituted and enforced that creates the difference between a society that is dependent or interdependent that makes for how a culture and society operates.
The founders such as Paine did recognize that certain powers and enumerations of programs and benefits that the government was obligated to provide to the citizens that sets them apart from the likes of Angles and Marx. It is not revisionist to point to the fact that these founders that were aware that individual freedom to have the opportunity to achieve on an individual basis instead of the hive mentality of having to depend on the collective to attain similar results. While the founders did recognize that certain aspects of any form of government did need to assist with the welfare of the whole they did not institute by mandate that this assistance would be forced upon the whole provided by the pillage of the reward for services that an individual endeavored.
When weighing the prospects for the form of government that would be created for this new country the founders had many choices to choose from , and at that time they had the opportunity to take it in whatever direction that they wanted to. Think about it for a moment, this is one of the first times in history up to that point that this opportunity existed and they very well could have instituted a government that was much more intrusive then what was formed. While they recognized that levees of taxes and tariffs needed to be instituted to fund the government they also set up safeguards so that it would not become overly oppressive to the citizenry. By clearly defining what power each branch of government was able to impose they allowed for the freedom that enables the difference between a clearly socialist society where from cradle to grave the government is expected to provide for its citizens in all aspects of their existence. Compared to a government that provides the basic tools that allows its citizens the room to grow beyond the bounds and restraints placed upon them when expected to shore up all in the collective society from the weakest link to the strongest link.
As mentioned all forms of government have certain aspects of socialism and socialist policies, the very fact that government is expected to provide services such as the creation of roadways for commerce and communication or that government is instituted to provide a constable and fire protection force is the very definition of a social program that is regulated to a governing body. In as much as the institution of providing a service of protection against invasion of the country by foreign armies or in modern times invasion upon aspects of commercial interests and natural resources the government is obligated to regulate and impose taxes to provide these services. The founders such as Paine and Jefferson also recognized that not all of the population would be able to be self sustaining and looked at ways to assist in helping this segment of the population, but at no time did they want to impose a mandate that it was the right of the government to place an overt burden on the whole to provide all the needs of those that failed to provide for themselves. Instead they set up the means and opportunity for individuals the ability to be able to assist with those that lagged behind through charitable means.
One great aspect of our society that keeps getting ignored is that while we are not obligated to be responsible to be our brothers keeper we inherently rise up and provide for those that need assistance and when we continually hear those that only want to chastise and demean the fact that we are successful as a society and that we are a prosperous society it only scorns the fact that without our charity and dedication to advancement this world would be a much darker place. While it is true that we have had many blemishes along the way and even unsavory aspects to the growth and progress of this country over all, we do not have nothing that needs to be relegated to revisionist history to fit into the scope of an agenda. All aspects of our growing pains and achievements need to be embraced and recognized because without them we would never have become the society that we are where when the fire bell rings from any corner of the globe Americans through charity and blood will answer the call.
Be it true that the clear differences between a complete socialist society and a society that has socialistic aspects is in the ability of the individual over the collective to be able to achieve any goal that they may set out to work toward. In the collective that socialism propagates the individual is restrained from overcoming the oppression that it requires to maintain the crutch of propping up the whole. This is not to say that restrictive bodies of this Ideology can go to benefit and assist individuals, it is in the intrusiveness and corruption that eventually prevails that leads to the failure when this Ideology is left to dominate a society. As we know eventually no matter how much you take from one individual to redistribute to another a time comes when the person you first took from gets to the limit of their ability to provide and a sense of discourse prevails and the snowball effect of failure entails. This we see with the whole Great Society and Social Security programs that we have in this country where it has come to a point that it is insolvent and in the fact that countries such as England and even Sweden can no longer prop up socialism as a whole in their society and government.
It is far from revisionist history to not recognize that even though Thomas Paine in “The Rights Of Man” stated that those in old age needed assistance and that the government did have certain obligations to assist and that Thomas Jefferson in “Agrarian Justice” that man did not make this earth but had the natural right to occupy it, recognized that even though government is able to impose its will , it is not the place that said government has the right to do so. This is where a clear difference in how they wanted to set up the ability that the citizens and not a central governmental body was able to decide just what freedoms and abilities to provide for the whole will be instituted. In Paine’s pamphlet “Common Sense” he points to just how intrusive a centralized government that has numerous powers left unchecked can eventually lead to tyranny and oppression. As such we do not always recognize some of the other writings by these fellows that look at some of the aspects that limited aspects of socialism exists with all forms of government and that even limited programs of such need to be incorporated to any functioning society, but we are so much more aware that the dangers of adoption of a society that is dominated by imposition of large government over limited government eventually leads to stagnation and decline of the society as a whole. The framers of the Constitution were well aware that separation of powers and separation from the collective mentality in favor of individualism was the best opportunity to create a society that would eventually be able to prosper and entail liberties and equal justice for all as opposed to social justice and oppressive burdens on the society as a whole.
No matter how the current climate of politics and the feeling that we need not recognize the dangers that a society dominated by socialism can eventually lead to the degradation of the very foundations that allows for growth, freedom, and the ability to maintain personal charity towards our fellow man we would be remiss not to acknowledge that even though we are not mandated to be “Our Brothers Keeper” we do so out of faith that it is our right to choose to do so because it is within our means and is the choice of the individual to do so. Our Founders helped set up the way that has allowed for this country and its citizens to have the ability to be able to do so and when you embrace the Ideology that it has to be imposed by force you only enforce the what they abhorred to a point that they decided to break away and form a government that is not perfect but far from what preceded in all of time and no matter how people would like to revise history this fact is evident today with how we have the ability to be able to participate and help shape our own future on our terms and not those that are mandated.

When Deception Justifies The End Goal

When Deception Justifies The End Goal
When Thomas Jefferson and John Adams called on the Tripolian ambassador to question their justification for taking American citizens as prisoners and slaves and demanding ransom for their release they were told , ” The right was founded on the Laws of the Prophet, that it was written in their Koran, that all nations who should not have answered their authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found, and to make slaves of all they could take as prisoners” . What many Americans are unaware of is that at this early stage in our countries history, war was declared and that a Jihad was called for against America, those who did so even back then justified it by quoting the Quran. Much of this is left out of the history books today and many have attempted to cover up these facts, instead through a desire not to offend and to conform to political correctness they have endangered the citizenry of this nation by deceptive means.

While it is true that the vast majority of Muslim Americans and Muslims worldwide want to live in peace and coexist with their fellow human brothers and sisters it is too often overshadowed by those who would rather follow along the path of violence and domination. The voices of those who would much rather follow the more peaceful teachings of Islam are silenced by those who follow the later passages of the Quran. Through intimidation and violence , repression and domination they exhort control and they justify doing so just as they justify following these same tactics to intimidate all Non- Muslims to convert or acquiesce to the Islamic Laws and Tenants. In the case of Non-Muslims it is perfectly acceptable to bring about fundamental change by any means possible, if a violent means is unsuccessful the more benign and stealthy tactic is to be employed such as deception and this is what we are witnessing occur in this country in concert with intimidation where if you speak out against those that are attempting to transform our society into a society that follows Sharia Law and follow any other religion other than Islam you are immediately labeled a racist when in fact you are exposing just what is occurring around you.

Many Westerners do not understand that in the Quran that it actually mandates how Muslims are allowed to deal with Non-Muslims through deception and lies to further advance the objectives and goals of those who follow the teachings of Mohamed in his call to dominate the Earth with those who follow the Muslim religion. The Taqiyya allows this practice and many Clerics and Imams have been espousing this practice here in the States as well as abroad to bring about the fundamental change that they believe is essential to justify the end goal. With the heated debate over the Mosque that is being proposed to be built at Ground Zero we are seeing this practice along with intimidation in full effect, with the revelations of the words of this Imam coming to light we are starting to see evidence that the practice of Taqiyya is being practiced and to cover his trail the tactic of intimidation with political correctness with the blessing of the main stream press and the out of touch government that one more step is being taken along the path of subjugation against the will of the vast majority of the American public.

Jefferson and Adams wholeheartedly objected to intimidation of any sort in the attempts to subjugate Americans to the will of those who would choose to not respect anyone of those who do not follow anyone particular religion, they did not allow the ends to justify the means in the long held belief by those who only follow the more radical teachings of a prophet who originally called for peaceful coexistence with those of other faiths to only call for violence later after he was scorned. How many are aware that he was poisoned by his own followers later in his life for what many believe as a call for peaceful coexistence between the religions once again that would trump the teachings of violence? The art of deception in this age old war is alive and well today and we as a people need to be aware of what is truly going on around us and to not allow ourselves to be intimidated in calling out these practices when they present themselves, because if we do not our way of life as we know it will be truly lost to history but as we all know the victor writes the history so it will be lost forever.

The Sad Tune Of Aquarius

The Sad Tune Of Aquarius

We cannot expect to be free until we accept responsibility for the actions or better yet the inactions we as citizens exhibited by becoming so complacent that we choose not to pay attention to the degradation of our society through the actions of our government and the continued assault on societal norms, we are as much to blame as the politicians that we elect to hold the offices of power and until we as a society come to grips with this fact we will never be able to advance any further then the restraints that we have allowed to be placed upon us. We now have a norm in society where as we would rather not accept responsibility for our own actions and we see this exemplified by the words and actions of our leaders when they choose to pass the blame off on those that came before, all the while taking us down a path that they set forth. It is so much easier to blame someone else for failures that you might make even if events and circumstances of others did play a role in some of the decisions that brought you to this juncture in time.

We cannot change the events of history be it personal or societal, we can move forward though and learn to accept shared responsibility that led us down the paths that we have embarked upon, doing so not only takes courage but also conviction to set aside a sense of personal narcissism that clouds common sense to prevail. Mistakes will always be made, that is a fact and once we understand that no matter how right we would like to think that we are in all the decisions that we make that there is always the outside chance that we might be wrong and that we will affect those around us for good or for bad we will never be free from the bonds that bind us. In society today we have lost the sense of honor, we no longer honor those who came before us and the sacrifices that they made, we in many respects do not even honor those closest to us in our desire to satisfy our own personal agendas. In many ways we have been conditioned over time to live our lives under the concept of a “me and free” norm where it is all about ourselves and that we are owed everything instead of consideration to others and how we might affect them in the process.

This was seen to develop as a standard in what is now so lovingly referred to as the age of Aquarius when ” Sex, Drugs, And Rock and Roll ” , man what a crazy trip we are on! “Peace, Love and Good Times”, now this is a great way to live! F’ the man he is just holding us down, “Say No to war and Yes to the power of the People!” What a concept, what a deal let’s all live as if there is no tomorrow, groovy man this is the age of Aquarius, the man owes us and it is our time to take what is ours! What is mine is yours and what is yours is mine, let’s live communally and save the planet while we are at it and the sense that what I am owed I deserve, it is my right you can’t take that away from me concept of accountability moved to the forefront instead of the understanding that what I might do or what I might decide that might be best for me might not be best for you decision making. Yes we are all guilty of living our lives as such and we are all just as guilty of placing our personal agendas before consideration of others and we in turn have walked upon the emotions and general welfare of so many in doing so. Are we truly free when we do not understand that every action that we incur results in an opposite reaction when we choose to place our personal narcissism and agendas above those that we may affect along the way? Is passing the blame off for our own actions that much more enlightening to make us feel better for the mistakes that we made than the honor that we can feel for taking personal responsibility and learning from those transgressions?

The dangers that the concept of living for today at the expense of tomorrow we are seeing metastasize today with the way that we are willing to sacrifice future generations once again for short term gain and the long held beliefs that we are owed something even if we might not have earned it. Generations will pay the price for the “free and me” generation, the family unit has paid the price with generations of broken families. So many these days do not even know how to hold it together because when they look at those before them all they witnessed were parents that were all about themselves and what gain they could get from a relationship and when the hard times hit it was easier to bail then to do the harder honorable thing and attempt reconciliation and commitment, but heck why would they do so when free love and good times were the way of the day! Why would the concept of commitment and honor be considered when we have been raised to believe that we have to live for ourselves and damn those that we may affect along the way? Why would we ever consider that the tune of the piper might be playing in the background as long as the crazy trip that we are on benefits us? One could also look at the fact that the “free and me” generation that are still stuck in a time and mindset that never truly existed are still reaching for straws that keep getting shorter and shorter day by day and have been doing all in their power to reach a goal that is unachievable by all laws of reality. This is not to say that as many grow up and entered society and start to raise families that the pipers tune starts to play in the background and we realized that not only do we have to live for today but to consider those who come after and we are starting to see this with how so many have thrown off the tie-dye’s and have picked up the signs and flags and have once again returned to the public square to protest the “man”!

The irony to all this is that the “man” this time around are those from the same generation that we are from but have yet to come to terms with the fact that the whole concept of what is yours is mine and mine is yours just does not play out when it comes time to cash in on what is considered to be owed to them. The sad fact that so many are still willing to sacrifice tomorrow for today just goes to show that the haze and penetration of socialism into the mainstream in the time of our youth went so unnoticed that so many moved on to teach the future generations this misguided ideology and sacrificed the core principles and morays that would otherwise have guided them only goes to show how if you become so full of yourself that you become willing to set aside even the basic concept of faith and charity to follow on generations and we become so complainant that we start to even believe the lies of passing off responsibility for our own actions unto others and further tighten the chains that weigh us down.

The Perpetual Snake Oil Salesman

The Perpetual Snake Oil Salesman

Once again the huddled masses were exposed to the outright narcissism of one who believes that if you tell a lie enough times that eventually it will be perceived as a truth, over the last three years we have been continually bombarded with the twisting of the truth by this most eloquent snake oil pitchman of a president. In his latest attempt to have you believe that with his spoken word that history does not have a factual base we hear him try to pass off that the Statue of Liberty is a symbol of immigration when that statement in of itself cannot be farthest from the true symbolism of the statue.

The Statue of Liberty represents what it’s name implies and that is a beacon of liberty, I understand that this might be a hard concept for some to wrap their minds around but when the French gave Lady Liberty as a present to this nation it was in recognition of how the American Revolution inspired the French to throw off the chains of oppression cast upon them by the ruling class who inherently abhorred the concept of individual liberty and freedom just as today we have this same mindset prevailing in the so called ruling class of this nation. The true danger in allowing the falsification of the true history of the Statue of Liberty being portrayed by this president is not only in the fact that he is following the line that has been misrepresented to so much of the population in the declining school system and by the media for many generations now, but that since he holds a position of respect with the office that he holds that so many of the huddled mass will take his words verbatim and lose any hope of understanding the true symbolism and history of this iconic symbol and what it really represents to those around the world.

Ironically when the concept was hatched in France to present a monument in recognition of independence and liberty to the United States , France was under the rule of a dictator in Napoleon III and Emma Lazarus was an obscure philanthropist championing the cause of Jews trying to escape oppression in Czarist Russia where Anti-Semitism and lack of individual liberty prevailed. In a letter in 1871 Frederick Bartholdi stated “I will try to glorify the Republic and Liberty over there, in the hope that someday I will find it again here.”, once you examine Emma’s poem you can see that she was speaking about a symbol that those who were escaping from oppression could look toward at the end of their journey. The most famous lines from this poem that we hear repeated over and over has lost it’s true meaning throughout time to be misrepresented as a call for unfettered immigration when in truth it represented the essence of this great land and the fact that it was a gateway of Individual Liberty and Freedom. Two lines from this poem alone expressed the underlying meaning that she was portraying what the symbolism to what the “New Colossus” represented as the gateway to the United States and they were ; “Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free”: too breath free from the bonds of tyranny and oppression, and “I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”: The golden door represented the individual opportunity to succeed or fail, it did not guarantee that you would have a golden parachute to do so and it did not guarantee that the door would be opened to all those that would not respect those who came before to guarantee the liberties and freedoms that could be found on the other side of that golden door.

Just as any good snake oil salesman would have to do to try to sell you a product that you would otherwise turn away from, President Obama once again mentioned just enough truth to entice the masses all the while glossing over the factual history and symbolism of what the Statue of Liberty represents and the meaning of the poem enshrined on a plaque inside of the pedestal of the statue. Not once did he mention when those immigrants that were coming to this country legally looking up to the statue on their way to Ellis Island knew that their chances of being turned away for one reason or another was a very real possibility, not once did he mention that Bedloe’s Island (Liberty Island) where the statue resides was a quarantine station and harbor fortification prior to the erection of the statue and that harbor fortifications and quarantine stations existed to protect this nation from the world rather than promiscuously admit it. It is understandable when you are trying to further an agenda that you will leave out some important facts but it does great shame and harm to the truth in doing so but this is what we have come to expect from the great snake oil salesman that we currently have sitting in the office of the president.

We are a land of immigrants to be sure but we are also a land of legal immigrants, we do welcome those coming to our shores looking for a better life but we also are a sovereign nation and as such it does not give the right of free passage to abuse just what makes this nation exceptional otherwise we will be no better than the nations that the masses are attempting to escape from. Because we have to ask ourselves does unrestricted immigration into a democratic country increase human liberty, or does it decrease it? Suppose the new people don’t like liberty?

Plant the seed

Plant a word in the mind, and you will reap an act. Plant the act and you will reap a habit. Plant a habit and you will reap a character. Plant a character and you will reap a nature. Plant a nature and you will reap a destiny because Men do not decide their future. They decide their habits and their habits decide their future. ~ Robert Rohlfing

Ignorance of intimidation

When we continue to ignore just what is occurring around us we are not truthful to ourselves, today we can no longer sit idly by and not speak out or to be coward into a corner through intimidation by those who lack integrity to diminish our faith and our hope in preserving the principles and accomplishments that we as a nation and as a people have stood for since the founding.
Transformation for the sake of the few at the expense of the many is a road that leads us down the path of decay not only for this generation but for generations to come, when we seek the courage to express our personal charity to face the fear that what we do today is not just in the interest of our own but for the interest of those to come we will slice through the fog of deceit and expose the truth that is lacking the opportunity to be seen in this struggle we face today.

Stifled Truth

To suppress objective criticism through intimidation stifles the objectivity of truth to break through the fog of disinformation; political correctness has conditioned free thought and the mindless mass of folly a place in the center universally held by common sense to quickly be replaced by the insatiable desire to acquiesce to the pressures placed upon the individual to not only recognize the dangers hidden within the fog, but ultimately restrains the light of truth the opportunity to guide the individual along a path opposite despotism.

“Driving that train high on?”

“Driving that train high on?”

The train pulling out of the yard right now is not driven by Casey Jones but it is set on a similar course, when fuel prices spike once more and prices of goods increase once again as mentioned we will see another uptick in foreclosures and decrease in purchase of goods in retail that is the stalwart of our economy. Unlike two and a half years ago peoples savings no longer have the ability to hold them through a triple sided assault, with unemployment at the levels that we are at currently and with the fact that a resignation that levels will remain around 7 1/2 % – 8 1/2% sustained nationwide into the future, the kaleidoscope effect of a double dip recession with tax increases across the board at a time when the citizenry can no longer support such measures will and has already set in motion the snowball effect that country’s such as Greece and states such as California have exhibited as the blueprint of mismanagement and misdirection of an omnipresent big government mentality that is not in tune with what is happening at the most important level of society and allows for the very fact that a sustainable recovery will not have the chance to see the light of day.

We are seeing a small uptick at the moment in the market and a small flux in orders where some trucking companies will notice an increase in tonnage and bill count but this is not an indicator that the economy is on the mend. I am not trying to be negative on this but all indicators and common sense points out that this is only a fluctuation despite the spin that will be placed on it that a recovery is around the corner.

The tracks this train is currently is currently moving down have yet to see the true dangers of the obstacles ahead and the engineer is pushing against a time table that does not allow even the smallest deviation. Just as Casey Jones did so long ago this engineer is forgoing safety in the head long pursuit to reach the end goal, but unlike Jones this train is not a freight train but it is a train of passengers along for the ride that will ultimately be crushed by the weight of the cars that will come crashing down around them.

So what is this engineer high on? One has to wonder since as the legend goes Casey Jones was high on cocaine.
