Boycott McDonalds, the title sponsor for La Raza Convention in July

Each year, National Council of La Raza (or The Race) holds a convention in Chicago to promote their subversive activities and aid illegal aliens in flaunting U.S. immigration laws across the country.

This year, McDonalds Corporation has agreed to be the title sponsor of the event.

It is unacceptable for a U.S. corporation to conspire to aid and abet illegal aliens in continuing to break our laws.

As a result, we have launched http://www.WereHatingIt.com, as a part of FIRE Coalition’s America First Boycott to promote a boycott of McDonalds. We are encouraging our members, partners, and citizens across the United States to avoid spending any money at McDonalds and to divest themselves of any stock holdings (NYSE: MCD).

We’re also asking that you forward this email to your entire contact list and to your favorite media contacts.

It is extremely important that citizens get involved by only spending their money with companies that support the America First Agenda.

How you can help fight Sanctuary Cities!

I’d like you to consider this email with a sense of urgency.

This is one area where, if we can look outside our own backyard, and stand shoulder to shoulder with someone who is fighting the battle in his own backyard–a battle that may soon come to our neighborhood if we don’t do something now–we can do some real good.

If you’re like most Americans, you want our federal and local governments to enforce our immigration laws rather than weaken or circumvent those laws.

This is not a partisan issue. On the contrary, a Zogby poll conducted in November for the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) shows strong bipartisan support for enforcement, as does another Zogby poll conducted in October for Judicial Watch. Indeed, 71.5% of those surveyed agree that local law enforcement officers should enforce federal immigration laws, including 51.5% of Hispanics and 56.2% of self-described “liberals.”

Judging from our elected officials’ conduct, however, they either don’t understand or don’t care. Bush, McCain and Obama all support amnesty, and local officials in many cities pursue “sanctuary city” policies.

How then, can we prevent Congress from putting an amnesty bill on President Obama’s desk?

Let me suggest we do so by ending the political career of America’s premier “sanctuary city” mayor, namely, L.A. Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, who comes up for re-election on March 3, 2009.

I’m running for Mayor of Los Angeles right now, and my platform includes ending all “sanctuary city” policies here in America’s second-largest city — a city that covers 469 square miles and has four million inhabitants.

By way of background: I am a 49-year-old business trial lawyer and licensed real estate broker; graduated with honors from Princeton with a degree in Public and International Affairs; graduated with honors from Georgetown Law; and am an independent. The candidate I support for City Attorney, by the way, is an immigrant who, like me, wants our immigration laws enforced.

I have raised over $180,000 in campaign contributions. Villaraigosa, however, has raised over $2.3 million, in large part from out-of-state developers. The local paper — which is owned by a company that also publishes a Spanish-language newspaper that depends on illegal immigration for its financial success — is ignoring my campaign. Result: voters in both parties don’t even know they have an alternative to the “sanctuary city” incumbent.

Imagine how the race would change if just 100,000 of the millions of people throughout the U.S. who support enforcement would each contribute just $20 to my campaign. That would give me a $2 million budget to let the citizens of L.A. know they don’t have to settle for more of the same. They would readily vote to replace Villaraigosa, and we would end illegal practices that aid and abet illegal immigration.

We would also send a huge “wake up” call to every member of the Senate and House: “We, the people, want our immigration laws enforced, and if you vote for amnesty, then we will contribute, from all over the nation, to defeat you in the next election.”

Enforcing our immigration laws, moreover, will complement, not undermine, Obama’s policies. For example, he wants to reward employers for creating jobs here in America rather than opening plants abroad. Enforcing our immigration laws would achieve the same result: let out-of-work Americans take jobs currently held by foreigners who are in our country illegally.

Taking another example, enforcing our immigration laws will lower the tax burden on America’s middle class, which is critical as we enter a recession. A former RAND economist recently estimated that illegal aliens in California receive between $10 billion and $38 billion more in state services than they pay in taxes.

So whether you’re a Democrat, a Republican, or, like me, an independent, I ask that you make at least a $20 investment in stopping amnesty on Day 42 of the Obama administration. By contributing to my campaign now, you may prevent an amnesty bill from reaching his desk.

Obama Advisor: Keep stimulus money away from skilled workers and “white male contractors”

Unbelievably (or maybe not), Robert Reich, Obama’s economic advisor had this to say about where stimulus money should go:

Background Information on State Children’s Health Insurance Program (SCHIP) Reauthorization and Expansion Legislation

The expansion of SCHIP, H.R. 2 , passed the House of Representatives on January 14, by a vote of 289-139. 40 Republican Congressmen voted for the SCHIP expansion.

SCHIP was begun in 1997 by Republicans to offer poor children, under the poverty level but ineligible for Medicaid, assistance in getting much needed health care.

The expansion elements of the bill:

A spending increase of over $31.5 billion above and beyond current levels for the next 4 ½ years at tax payer expense and/or deficit spending. The Congress would like us to believe this increase in taxes can be funded by ever higher tobacco taxes. According to the Heritage Foundation, 22.4 million new smokers would need to be recruited by 2017!!!!

Inclusion of legal immigrant children, adults (10% of “children” now enrolled are 18 and above), pregnant legal and non-citizen women, as well as children from families making up to $80,000 per year, 300% above the poverty level. The CBO estimates that the bill will shift 2.4 million children from private insurance to government-provided care as they opt for “free” taxpayer-funded health care.

There is no provision for the poorest, legal children to be covered first.

Millions of children will quickly find limits on access to care as the elderly do on the government- funded Medicare programs!

This is huge expansion of the federal government and will serve to increase the dependency of millions on taxpayer dollars! The federal government, not the parents, will be making decisions about the care their children receive and for what services they will be eligible.

The expansion legislation severely limits what documentation states can require enrollees to provide verifying their citizenship, opening the door for fraud. Not only does this allow the illegal alien population to take scarce health care dollars away from U.S. citizens, but is a further incentive to enter the U.S. illegally and to stay, living off of U.S. tax payers.

Repeals the ban on legal immigrants from receiving federal health benefits under Medicaid and SCHIP during the first five years in the U.S. This puts the poorest American citizens on a par and in competition for health care resources and dollars with non-citizens! According to Senator Charles Grassley, this “violates a 100-year-old law that requires sponsors of new immigrants to pledge that the individuals will not become a financial burden to taxpayers”.

The expansion will make low-income, uninsured, legal immigrant pregnant women and their non-citizen children eligible for SCHIP. According to John Gever of MedPage Today, this will cost tax payers ~$3.9 billion over the next ten years!

SCHIP passed the Senate Finance Committee on Thursday and will head to the full Senate soon!

Please spend a few minutes calling Senate offices, emailing and/or faxing…whatever you are comfortable doing.

Please pass this alert to friends and family on your email list ASAP. Time is short, by the design of Pelosi and Reid!

The Senate bill contained the same text as the House Bill with the exception of waiving the 5 year requirement for pregnant legal immigrants and their non-citizen children to be eligible. This can be added as an amendment on the Senate floor and will no doubt pass if we choose to remain complacent.

Added to the bill by Senator Snowe (R) was a requirement to cover dental care for all.

Montana Senator Max Baucus (D) is Chairman of the Senate Finance Committee and is crafting nationalized health care (which will include non-citizens and illegal immigrants) as well as promoting the expansion of SCHIP. Let him know how you feel. He does not represent the citizens of Montana who value independence and small government!

Possible Talking Points:

How can Senator __________ consider the expansion of SCHIP when it will cost over $31.5 billion to American taxpayers?

The intention of SCHIP was to provide for poor children. If this expansion passes the Senate, the poorest children will be in competition for health care services and dollars with illegal aliens, non-citizens, pregnant women and those making enough money to have private insurance. America’s poorest children must come first!!!

Our country and our tax payers can not afford more government spending in addition to the endless “bailouts” and “stimulus packages”. Excessive government spending got our nation into the mess it is in now!

Where is the Senator’s promise to be responsible with the taxpayer dollars of those he was elected to represent?

Does this Senator understand that his support of this bill with it’s coverage of illegal aliens and non-citizens is “taxation without representation”?

Does the Senator understand that most Americans do not want a further expansion of the federal government and its intrusion into our lives???

Why does the Senator seek to create more dependency among the American people on government??? (The true agenda!)

Again, my points for successful citizen lobbying:

An email and a fax are fine, but nothing beats personally calling our federal and state offices for a little one-on-one with an aide. This guarantees your concerns will be heard, not deleted or shredded.

Be very polite and engaging. Pretend you are talking to your children, your grandchildren, a niece or nephew or a younger friend. These aides most usually in their early 20’s!!!

Be well-informed and ask “did you know” or “do you think Congressman ____ or Senator ________ is aware” questions.

Do not express anger! This only gives them an excuse not to listen. The best days to call are on Tues-Thurs.

The Unions and the Illegal Alien Invasion

The other day, I had a very enlightening conversation with a former organizer for the Laborers International Union Of North America. He wrote out a letter to describe the current situation in the unions from an “insider’s” perspective. John Buck worked his way up to a pretty lofty position within the organization, so his perspective is valuable for us to use in our fight against the illegal alien invasion.

After reading John’s letter below, please take action on the following:

My name is John Buck. I am a former organizer for the Laborers Eastern Organizing Fund, Laborers International Union Of North America. This is my story.

After years of being a rank and file laborer, I was asked to become an organizer. I agreed with the belief that advocating for better working conditions, benefits, and wages for American workers was a worthy cause. I still do.

After some time, I came to these conclusions.

1) Labor leaders nationwide are merging local union halls across the country in order to avoid dissent on illegal immigration.
2) The leadership of these unions are selling out the rank and file in order to gain membership dues and political power for themselves.
3) The unsustainable tide of cheap illegal labor takes the teeth out of any present and future collective bargaining agreements.
4) These leaders have come to a “if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em” mentality.
5) With years of fighting big buisness’ use of illegal aliens, they have succombed.
6) These actions are are costing American union workers jobs.
7) Through the threat of takeover by the international union, local buisness agents submit or are merged to avoid dissent.
8) Through their dues, rank and file members are unwittingly donating money to political action committees who have a pro-amnesty agenda. In other words, they are advocating for their own replacements.
9) Even without the current economic down turn, jobs are finite not infinite.
10) Without a great groundswell of dissent, this situation is irreversable.

Let me tell you a story of the laborers union…

Over the years there has been a number of corruption convictions in my union, so the Justice Department came in to oversee it. This gave the current leadership the appearance of changing the union for the better. Everyone cheered. Then they went to work on us.

Instead of demanding that contractors use legal American workers, they thought it easier to just organize the illegal alen workers which started us down a slippery slope. The courts made the decision that organizing these workers was legal, but here’s the rub: while that is legal [I don't agree with it though], sending out illegal aliens from a hiring hall is another matter. My union card has my social security number on it. What about yours? Whose number are the illegal aliens using?

This leaves all our union contractors exposed to fines and penalties, and therefore could affect collective bargaining agreements. The granting of union cards is facillitating the employment of illegal aliens, which is a crime. So I see this practice as an ongoing, organized criminal enterprise. That is the definition of a R.I.C.O. (racketeering) violation.

AND THE JUSTICE DEPT IS LETTING THEM DO IT.!!!!

This house of cards must not stand. Please stand up and scream with me. I am an American Union Worker, and I want my union leaders to identify and e-verify.
