Government corruption

You might want to do it today.

You might want to do it today.

I would like to know where in the hell all those self righteous people are who blew a gasket about the wire tapping with out a warrant on terrorists, it was an invasion of privacy, it was a sign of tyranny, it was because George Bush was in office and he as the next Hitler, so where are you now all you great bastions of civil liberties, where is your loud thundering voice when it deals with our privacy being taken away and they are not even being shy about it??? Come on’ folks, let me hear you scream, or is your self righteous indignation reserved for only those who are trying to protect our nation??? H.R.45 introduced in the House requires licensing of fire arms across this nation, Ammunition Accountability Act, which requires all ammo to be coded and that which is not destroyed, and then there is the plan to tax us for how many miles we drive, and do you know how they plan to do that? They are planning to put GPS units on all the cars and that way they will know exactly how many miles we have driven, so let’s get this very straight, they plan to put GPS on all cars so they know where we are at all times, they will know how much ammo we have and exactly how many guns we own and we have yet to hear a peep from the people who raised hell about wire tapping, what gives, is it suddenly OK to hand over our first and fourth amendment rights?

You guys threw such a royal fit about your rights being usurped, but you can’t manage a whimper when it is the great democratic party doing it, you don’t want to see what is going on around you, you cannot possibly believe that the great Obama would allow it to happen, well guess what he will and he will have the medias help selling it to you, by the time they are through with you, you will honestly believe that willing being tracked by the government is good for the country. Do you want your government knowing everywhere you go? Because with this legislation they will be able to track you anywhere, they will know where you are at any time of the day or night and there will be nothing you can do about it. I have to wonder what criminal charges they will slap down on you if you try and take it off, remember if they know where you are at all times, if you suddenly go dark they will know that too. Is this a violation of privacy, you bet it is and so is requiring us to get a license for every gun and buy coded ammo, is this something you should be raising hell about? Oh Hell yeah, because you see if you don’t right now they will pass that wonderful fairness doctrine and home grown terrorist act and when they do that if you say anything you will be labeled a terrorist and will serve time in prison.

I want to know where you are all of you keepers of the rights, all of you heroes of the fourth amendment, come on’ cat got your tongue? You rather fancy lining up in your cars to have a tracking device installed do you? You honestly believe we need to be treated like prisoners in our own country, hell they let the Gitmo prisoners go free and just start adding new and ever more imposing laws to the book and you just sit there and do nothing, do you recon that he will be merciful to you if you just line up and put that star on? So let’s hear it, some of you tell me why it is OK to have our rights stripped away one by one, media black outs about anything concerning these bills, go ahead tell me CNN, ABC and CBS covered it I dare you, tell me that they mentioned, oh by the way the newly elected democrat president and congress are working right now to limit the rights of the American people, you can’t because they never said it. Look them up on line, do a little research find out for your self because the propaganda TV is not going to do it for you. There was another leader in another country that was on TV 24/7, news reported that all of the people in his country loved him, he could do no wrong and our esteemed president shares a part of his name.

You wanted something to protest, you wanted something to throw a fit about, you wanted to change the government, you wanted to protect our fourth amendment rights, well you might want to start getting mad and you might want protest and you might want to do it today.

My Mom always told me to be careful who I hung out with because people will assume you are just like the people you hang around. Now that I am older I understand exactly what she was talking about and I really think it might have helped if Obama’s mother had mentioned that to him. Al Franken is the latest democrat and friend of Obama’s to have tax problems so yeah I suppose Nancy was right for once we are living in a corrupt era, of course she would know. Let’s get something straight here shall we, in light of all these democrats who we have found out have not bothered to pay their taxes I believe a full investigation is in order of all democrats and their tax situations, before they ask us for one more penny.

At the rate they are going they could possibly just pay all the back taxes they owe and cover that stimulus bill for us. Now, forgive me I am just curious is it only the democrats that get a free pass on their taxes and please do not say they don’t because if it had you or I who owed any taxes you can bet your left leg they would have frozen our checking and savings account put a lien on our homes and everything in them, but some how these people have gotten away with owing hundreds of thousands in BACK taxes and no one did or said anything until they were picked by Obama. Think about that one for a moment, and even after it was made public they just paid those back taxes and walked away from it all, excuse me but what about that we are all created equal crap.

I am not feeling the love, the hope but I am feeling the change alright we have changed from an administration they had to falsify charges against to one who openly airs their crimes, thumbs their noses at us and says so what. Take for instance the election; all who believe it was a fair election raise your hand. Hello, we had acorn running the show even after they were under investigation for voter fraud and now guess what the largest portion of that stimulus bill is going to them. Oh yeah, you heard that right the community organizing group that managed to register Daffy Duck is going to be getting the bulk of that stimulus bill and I am sorry but I smell PAY OFF…

These people should still be under investigation, there is no ongoing investigation it has been swept under the rug, the election should not have been held until these people were completely investigated, but nope we did not bother with that and you do not hear anything else about it, kind of reminds me of those videos that showed Obama in a bad light that kept disappearing from YouTube, can you spell censorship? Not only are they not going to face charges, or be investigated our tax dollars are going to PAY them OFF. If you do not want your hard earned money going to pay off voter fraud might I suggest you call these numbers day and night US Capitol toll free 877-851-6437 or 866-220-0044
866-340-9281 or 800-417-7666
Fill up their voice mail, tell them no pay off for acorn and investigate the voter fraud NOW. These numbers are toll free; you can ask to speak to any one of them and do not just stop with yours because when they are all taking our money they all work for us. We have a choice here people we can sit by silently while these people run rough shod over our rights and add a major tax burden on us or we can decide enough already and fight back. I say we have just begun to fight.

Housing Push for Hispanics Spawns Wave of Foreclosures

California Rep. Joe Baca has long pushed legislation he said would “open the doors to the American Dream” for first-time home buyers in his largely Hispanic district. For many of them, those doors have slammed shut, quickly and painfully. Mortgage lenders flooded Mr. Baca’s San Bernardino, Calif., district with loans that often didn’t require down payments, solid credit ratings or documentation of employment. Now, many of the Hispanics who became homeowners find themselves mired in the national housing mess. Nearly 9,200 families in his district have lost their homes to foreclosure. For years, immigrants to the U.S. have viewed buying a home as the ultimate benchmark of success. Between 2000 and 2007, as the Hispanic population increased, Hispanic homeownership grew even faster, increasing by 47%, to 6.1 million from 4.1 million, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. Over that same period, homeownership nationally grew by 8%. In 2005 alone, mortgages to Hispanics jumped by 29%, with expensive nonprime mortgages soaring 169%, according to the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council. Share on Facebook

Harkin move kept Agriprocessors plant afloat

A controversial Postville meatpacking plant might have been forced out of business if U.S. Sen. Tom Harkin hadn’t stepped in four years ago to give it a multimillion-dollar boost with federal tax money. The money, nearly $8 million, came from an environmental program from which Agriprocessors normally would have been disqualified. The grant and loan were used to build a sewage-treatment plant that serves only the meatpacker. The environmental program, run by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, is designed to help small towns improve their sewage systems. The new sewage-treatment plant is technically owned by Postville, but it doesn’t serve the town’s residents. Department administrators say that fact usually would have prevented it from receiving money from the program. But Harkin, an Iowa Democrat, used his influence to exempt the project from those rules in 2004. Share on Facebook

Grants Available to Fight Immigration-Related Employment Discrimination

The Justice Department announced that it is making available $725,000 in funding for grant programs designed to promote public education efforts regarding immigration-related employment discrimination.
The Office of Special Counsel for Immigration-Related Unfair Employment Practices (OSC), a section of the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division, announced the availability of funds for public education programs regarding employees’ rights and employers’ obligations under the anti-discrimination provision of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA). The program is open to public service groups, faith-based organizations, associations, and others providing information services to employers and/or potential victims of immigration-related employment discrimination. Last year, grants ranging from $45,000 to $85,000 were awarded to 11 organizations serving communities throughout the country.

In some cases, the INA prohibits discrimination against work-authorized individuals on the basis of citizenship status or national origin in hiring, firing and recruiting or referring for a fee. In addition, the provision prohibits employers from requiring over-documentation in the employment eligibility verification process. The INA also prohibits retaliation against protected conduct under the INA.

Immigrants get promise of reforms Bill will pass, Emanuel tells rally

A reform bill to legalize millions of immigrants will pass Congress this year, Rep. Rahm Emanuel (D-Ill.) promised more than 1,500 cheering people at a Saturday rally in his Chicago district. “The Democratic leadership is committed to this,” Emanuel said. “This will be the year we get this done.” Activists and immigrants, including a Mexican factory worker caught in a February raid and a Polish small-business owner whose wife faces deportation, joined the latest call for reform that picked up on the momentum generated by several large marches in Chicago last year.
